Part 1
Words are going to flash onto the screen. You are asked to respond as quickly as possible with a different but strongly associated word. For example, if the word was ‘Dog’ you might respond with ‘Cat’, or ‘Pet’, or ‘Walk’ – each are words we could associate with ‘Dog’.

Part 2
In the second part of this task, again you will be presented with a word but this time you are asked to respond as quickly as possible with an un-related word. For example if the word was ‘Table’ I do not want you to say ‘chair’, ‘furniture’, ‘tennis’ but a completely un-related word.
