In specialist spasticity clinics assessment scales may be used such as Modified Ashworth Scale, Tardieu or Modified Goal Attainment Scale (GAS) These are used alongside other functional assessments.

Modified Goal Attainment Scale (GAS)
The Modified Goal Attainment Scale (GAS) is an individualised outcome measure involving goal selection and goal scaling that is standardised in order to calculate the extent to which a patient’s goals are met.
