The GP types Dillon’s information into his computer

Pulse point

Dillon’s well-being will need to be reassessed on a regular basis. If the episodes of AF change in frequency or there are test results that highlight an abnormality, this would in turn change his medical management.

Some patients with symptomatic paroxysmal AF should be referred onto a specialist cardiologist if symptoms persist, despite simple measures such as lifestyle adjustment and beta blockade.
