Slide 1

Jock speech bubble: I hear young Sean McIntyre got in to a bit of bother again last week.

Lachlan speech bubble: Aye, so I heard. He’s never been the same since he had that episode on the shinty pitch.

Slide 2

Jock speech bubble: It’s his family I feel sorry for. Elaine and Fred are such a respectable couple. It can’t be easy for his brother, either, having to go to school knowing that folk are talking about Sean’s behaviour.

Lachlan speech bubble: I saw Elaine in the Co-op the other day. She looked a shadow of her former self – hardly raised her head to speak to me. And Fred doesn’t even come to the pub for his usual Friday night pint any more.

Slide 3

Jock speech bubble: Have you heard how Bert is getting on? Somebody told me he’d been signed off his work with stress.

Lachlan speech bubble: I was chatting with his wife yesterday. She says he can’t come to terms with the way Sean is since his cardiac arrest. Feels it’s his fault. He’s getting professional help now so, hopefully, things will improve for him.

Jock speech bubble: I hope so. He’s a good lad.
